Greetings from the new FRC Garden! On Saturday, August 21, 2010, as part of the second annual Community Action Day and Outdoor Movie Night in Potrero Hill sponsored by Rebuild Potrero, a new 4-bed community garden was installed by residents (including adults and children) of Potrero Terrace and Annex, neighborhood folks and BRIDGE Housing. The beds were made of eco-friendly, weather-treated wood from Beronio Lumber and filled with an organic soil and compost mix provided by Recology. Read more >

First barrel gardens installed! On Sunday, March 27, 2001, the first barrel gardens were installed in front of the homes of two Potrero Terrace and Annex residents. The barrels can hold a small tree as well as vegetables or flowers. Terrace and Annex residents can request a barrel, which comes with support and continuing education from a maintenance crew. 4 Kinds of Strawberries at the FRC Garden! Organic Strawberries have been very popular at the Family Resource Center Garden this season.
